At Gilmour we pride ourselves on offering the best all round education for the best pupils in the city. From the arts to sport, from classroom work to outdoor education we really 'learn together and grow together'.

I hope this web site gives a small taste of life at Gilmour Juniors in all its many and varied activities. We have over recent years boasted of city champions in our teams and our individual successes, but the best of all was our national success at cricket where for two years we were champions of all, playing on test match grounds.

Our football teams have played at Anfield, our touch rugby team has represented Liverpool and our chess players have played all over the country for Liverpool. This is reflected in our 'Active Mark Gold Award'

Every year we have an arts week where our children experience the whole range of the field of art from rock to classical, soaps to Shakespeare, circus to musicals. This is reflected in our artsmark gold and active mark gold awards.

We are a vibrant, alive school because of our wonderful children and dedicated staff, so please enjoy our site and pay us a visit in the flesh.

OFSTED inspection
Earlier this year we had an OFSTED inspection in our school. We were delighted with the report, achieving Grade 1 across the board! This all thanks to the hard work of not only the teachers and children but also their parents who have given us their loyal support throughout the year.
